Diskspace refers to the size that your website takes up. All the
contents of your website, every letter of the work and every pixel of
the image is stored on the servers of the web host. One megabyte equals
to one million bytes. HTML pages are comparatively smaller but the
images, page scripts and databases demand large amounts of diskspace.
Bandwidth refers to the amount of data that the web host’s server will
allow your website to send out in a month. Data transfer is usually
measured in gigabytes. If you go beyond your monthly limit, the web
hosting company can either close down your website or charge you an
interest.
