What does the error 'Column count doesn't match value count' mean?

Your insert statement is incorrect, you are putting a different amount
of values in than there are columns (I am guessing less values than
columns.  Try explicitly stating what columns you are updating, ie:

    INSERT INTO tblname (col1,col2) VALUES ('col1val','col2val');
